CTR ROLLER DISCO:

CLEAN SKATE PARTY:
It's been three months already (time really does fly), so this month's community skate event is the ⁠Clean Skate Party on the 11th. R60 gets you all the materials you need for cleaning, and assistance - you just need to show up with a microfibre towel and your skates. Bring extra cash for tea/coffee/cheesecake.

For those who don't know, clean skate parties are skate maintenance - you clean wheels and boots as well as clean and re-lubricate your bearings so your skates stay in the best condition that they can be in.

CLEAN UP DAY

Firstly, a massive thank you and well done to all that showed up for our Clean Up Day this past Saturday!!! We did a great job and had so much fun while doing it! At the end of the day, some of us had a sneaky little trial skate and the potential for fun just grew.

WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN NOW?
The contractor is going to come back on-site for an updated assessment to see if any other prep needs to be done. Since it has rained substantially this week, it's been a bit difficult to do a proper site inspection, but we are looking for a gap in the weather and our schedules.

We will then figure out how to break down the phase and ensure we are skate-able end of June, as planned!

We do know that we will be starting with the tar repairs first at the very least, then see about wooden structure + fencing.

A reminder to those who have not yet paid your invoices, please do so - the quicker our funds come in, the quicker we can pay our contractor. Please also share the club far and wide and join if you aren't already a member - the more the merrier (and the quicker we can get through the plans for the court with funding).
