A MILESTONE FOR US
When we set out to start this club, we had the big scary goal of having 30 members. That was the BIG GOAL. The realistic goal was 15.

This past week we hit 31 members! 2.5 months in! Thank you SO MUCH for trusting us with your skating journey.

WOMXN'S DAY
REMINDER WEDNESDAY 9 AUGUST - there will be no evening session.

Instead - all womxn are welcome to drop in to our skate sesh from 10am-1pm. Bring your besties who skate - it's free for womxn!

PUMP UP THE JAAAMSS

If you don't like Baby Tjoklits playing while you skate *you know who you are* - we've created a group playlist. Please add your favourite skate jams to it! This will be the playlist we play every session. And I'll be adding Baby Tjoklits. *Evil laughter*

THE COURT

Lastly, the court was finished up last week, and will take two weeks to dry. Unfortunately with the rain and the underestimation of how much work was needed, this took a bit longer than we hoped!

Upfront bulk members who've missed out on July will be getting a little something for your understanding <3

Next phase? We plan to paint the court so it is even smoother to skate on and look a little less patchy, as well as add wooden fencing. When this happens is all dependent on funding - let's hope we reach even more members soon!
